About this Gig
A beta read is a review of your manuscript from a reader perspective. You will receive honest reader feedback as well as some general thoughts on the development of plot, characters, pacing, writing craft, and themes. I will leave marginal comments on what is working and what isn't and provide a review letter that describes in more detail my overarching thoughts.
Leave me a list of questions or areas of concern. We can work together to allow your story to flourish.
I work with general fiction, clean/closed door romance, mystery, suspense, mystery, YA and children's fiction, Christian fiction, and more.

Will you edit my book?
While I will leave some general comments about plot or character development, most of my comments will be on my impressions and thoughts as a reader. I also offer developmental editing if you are interested in in-depth comments related to developmental aspects of your manuscript. Message me!
Are there any genres you do not read?
I do not read horror. In addition, I do not read spicy scenes, regardless of the genre. If you aren't sure if your novel fits into a genre I have listed, reach out! I would love to chat.
Will you correct grammatical or spelling errors?
Beta reading does not cover grammatical or spelling errors. Click on my profile or message me if you are interested in a copyedit.
