Do you create a new design, or just re-draw an old design?
I do both. If you want, I can clean up your old design and make it into a BMP file, and I can also create a design from a completely new idea, according to your thoughts, colors, or theme.
What type of file do you redraw designs from?
I usually redraw designs from JPG, PNG, PSD, AI, or similar image files. If you provide the file in another format, you can send it to me as well. I'll see if I can work from it.
How do you ensure that the design works properly on the machine?
I create every design pixel by pixel. I set everything in the right proportion from the beginning so that the colors sit properly on the machine, and there is no distortion anywhere.
Do you provide a color palette or tech sheet?
Yes, in the standard and premium packages, we provide a color palette, tech sheet, and if necessary, a color list with Pantone codes — so that the work in the factory is easier.
Do you create files not only for production, but also for making samples?
Of course. The BMP file I provide can also be used for sample development. Many clients first make a sample and check it, then run it in production.
If I send you a hand-drawn sketch, can I design from it?
Yes, I can. A simple sketch is enough — I clean it up, arrange it in a professional vector style, and turn it into a machine-ready BMP file.
Do you design all types of socks? For example, men's, women's, children's?
Yes, I do all three. I keep the colors a little heavier in men's designs, women's are a little smarter and more colorful, and children's designs are a little more playful.
If my design has many colors or is a little more complex, can that be done?
Yes, it can be done. First, I look at the design, then I set it up in such a way that there are no problems with the color or stitching on the machine. No matter how complex it is, I make it production-ready.
What if I don't like the design?
I always value client feedback. Just let me know what you want to change, and I'll update it until you're happy.
