FAQ
Which payment gateways do you work with?
Stripe and PayPal are my main ones. I can also integrate Square, Razorpay, Authorize.net and similar gateways. Message me first for anything outside Stripe and PayPal.
What are webhooks and do I need them?
Webhooks are automatic messages the payment provider sends to your server when something happens, such as a payment succeeding, failing or being refunded. Without them, your system can miss payments that complete after the customer closes the page. For any real business, I recommend them.
Is it safe? Do you handle card data?
No. I use the gateway’s hosted checkout and official libraries, so card details go directly to Stripe or PayPal and never touch your server. I also verify webhook signatures and keep keys in environment files.
Can you set up subscriptions and recurring billing?
Yes. Subscriptions are included in Premium or available as an extra. This covers plans, trials, upgrades, cancellations and failed-payment handling.
Can you integrate payments into WordPress or WooCommerce?
Yes. I can configure existing plugins or write custom code, depending on what you need.
My payments or webhooks are failing. Can you fix them?
Yes. Send me the error message or the Stripe/PayPal dashboard log before ordering, and I will tell you if Basic is enough.
Do I need my own Stripe or PayPal account?
Yes. You create the account and share test keys (sandbox) with me. I never need your bank details or live account password.
Will you test before going live?
Yes. Everything is tested in sandbox or test mode first. I will guide you on switching to live keys safely.
Which programming languages do you use?
Node.js, Python, PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript/React. I match your existing project wherever possible.
Do you offer support after delivery?
Yes. Standard includes 3 days and Premium 14 days of support. You can also add a 1-month support extra.
