You will need to provide the Make and Model of your NVR/DVR and IP cameras (e.g., Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2/8P, Reolink RLC-810A). Remote Access Details: Secure login credentials for the NVR/DVR and, most importantly, a temporary remote access method like TeamViewer or AnyDesk installed on a computer
Is this service remote?
Yes, this service is 100% remote. All configuration is performed securely over the internet using a temporary remote desktop connection (like TeamViewer or AnyDesk) that you authorize.
How long does the configuration take?
The time varies depending on the number of cameras and the complexity of the desired features (e.g., advanced motion setup). Most standard configurations (up to 8 cameras) are completed within the time frame specified in the Gig package.
Will you work with my specific camera brand (e.g., Dahua, Hikvision, Amcrest)?
Yes, I have experience with all major brands and generic ONVIF-compliant systems. Please mention your brand and model number when ordering to confirm compatibility.
My cameras and NVR are from different brands. Can you still configure them?
In most cases, yes. If both devices support the ONVIF standard, they can usually be integrated. I will verify compatibility based on the model numbers you provide.
Do I need a PoE NVR or a PoE switch?
If your NVR has built-in PoE ports, you are fine. If your cameras are PoE but your NVR is not, you will need an external PoE Switch to power the cameras. I can configure the NVR for either setup.
What if I have an IP conflict or network issue?
My service includes resolving common network issues like IP address conflicts and ensuring all devices are on the correct subnet for successful communication.
Can you set up remote viewing on my phone/tablet?
