About this Gig
So you've finished your manuscriptcongrats! Now you need to get it proofread, and I'm the girl for the job. I have five years of experience in copy editing and proofreading, and I'm used to a multitude of genres, both fiction and non-fiction. I'm happy to take on any project, excepting horror fiction. For this, I charge $0.005 per word. I'm also willing to carry out a short, 500-word free trial to see how well we work together. Feel free to contact me for an exact quote.
What does proofreading include?
I will check and correct:
- Grammar
- Spelling
- Punctuation
- Facts
I will also make adjustments to formatting to ensure consistency if required.
What do you get back?
With every delivery, I'll return two copies of your document. One will have tracked changes, so that you can see every change I've made and you can pick and choose which you would like to keep. The other will be a clean copy so that you can see the finished product.

An MS Word file is preferable.
How many revisions do you offer?
I do not offer revisions as standard. If this is something you require then please contact me directly, as this will be at an extra cost due to the additional time involved.
