Can I get faster delivery than 45 days?
In most cases, yes! If you request a custom order, I can set a delivery deadline based on the length of the project. Shorter projects may only take a few days, and the average-length novel (about 80,000 words) takes 30 days. Just send me a message, and I will quote a turnaround time.
What if my word count is over 5K increments, but just a little bit?
If you shoot me a message telling me about your project and your exact word count, I can give you a custom quote on the total. No need to pay for 50,000 words if you only have 45,250! I'll prorate the total based on the actual word count so you're getting the best value.
Do you edit fiction genres other than science fiction and fantasy?
Yes! I have extensive experience with mystery, thriller, romance, action/adventure, and literary fiction. While speculative fiction is my area of expertise, I'm comfortable with any genre.
Do you work with UK, Canadian, Australian, or other forms of English?
Yes! While I'm most familiar with US English, I am well-versed in the nuances of UK, Canadian, and Australian English, including spelling, punctuation, and idiom differences.
Does this include formatting for eBook or print?
No. My focus is entirely on the quality, flow, and technical precision of your prose. I provide a clean, edited Word document with Track Changes, but I do not perform interior book layout or formatting.
Do you offer a sample edit?
Yes. I offer a sample edit of up to 2,500 words of the first chapter for $25 so you can see if my editing style aligns with your voice before committing to the full manuscript.
