What is the difference between the 8B, 32B, and 72B packages?
Think of parameters as "Brain Size." 8B: Fast, lightweight. Good for simple chat or use on a standard laptop. 32B: The "Sweet Spot." Excellent at coding, math, and logic. Requires a good GPU. 72B: Enterprise-grade. Rivals GPT-4 in nuance and complex reasoning. Requires heavy hardware (48GB+ VRAM)
Will the model strictly "know" all the facts in my documents?
Not exactly. Fine tuning gives the model a new behavior, tone, or format ("Write like a lawyer" "Code in this style"). To make it recall specific facts 100% of the time, you should pair this with an RAG system (which I can consult on). Fine tuning creates the "Expert"; RAG gives it the "Textbook."
I don't have a massive server. Can I still use the 72B model?
Yes, but we must Quantize it. I can compress the model (e.g., to Q4_K_M format) so it fits into smaller memory (like a Mac Studio or a Dual-GPU PC) with minimal loss in intelligence. Please mention your hardware in the order requirements so I can format it correctly for you.
Is my proprietary data safe with you?
100%. Unlike cloud services that train on your data, I operate a private, air-gapped local cluster (Dual Nvidia P40s). Your data enters my server, trains the model, and is permanently deleted after delivery. It never touches the internet.
What file format do you deliver?
I deliver the industry-standard GGUF (for use in LM Studio/Ollama) or Safetensors (for use in Text-Generation-WebUI). If you need a specific LoRA adapter file to merge yourself, I can provide that as well.
My data is messy (scanned PDFs, raw text). Can you use it?
"Garbage in, Garbage out." The model is only as smart as the data you feed it. If your data is unformatted, please purchase the Dataset Cleaning gig extra, and I will write custom scripts to format it into high-quality JSONL pairs for training.
How long does the training take?
The delivery times (7/14/21 days) include data formatting, test runs, and the final training run. Actual GPU training time varies, but I allow extra time to ensure the model "converges" (learns) correctly without overfitting. I do not rush science.
