What format should I send my footage in?
Any common format works (MP4, MOV, ProRes, etc.). If you're sending files via Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer, just make sure the link doesn't expire before I finish downloading everything.
What if my raw footage goes over the minutes included in my package?
No problem. You can add extra footage minutes as needed, or upgrade to the next package before we start. Just let me know the total runtime of your raw footage before placing the order so we can pick the right package or a personalized offer together.
Do you write or edit the script/story structure?
This gig covers editing only. I work with the footage and story as delivered. If you'd like input on structure or pacing suggestions during the edit, feel free to mention it in the project brief and I'll flag anything I notice.
Can I request changes to the color grading or sound style after seeing the first cut?
Yes, that's exactly what your included revisions are for. I recommend sharing references (other films, mood, color style) before I start so the first cut is closer to what you want.
Do you provide the project file (Premiere/DaVinci) so I can keep editing?
The final delivery is the exported video file. If you need the editable source project, that's available as an add-on.
How should I send you feedback for revisions?
Timestamped notes work best (e.g. "at 1:24, cut faster" or "add music at 3:10"). It keeps revisions accurate and saves time on both sides.
I don't speak your language, can you still sync audio and dialogue correctly?
Yes. Audio syncing is done visually (lip movement, waveform peaks) and doesn't require understanding the spoken language. For any language-specific notes (emphasis, timing of key lines), just include timestamps in your project brief.
