Design process

If you dont have a DXF or DWG file of the sheet metal part that needs bending, I can create the design from your sketches or ideas. After that, I will make a 3d model with the correct bends. Once the model is ready, I will create 3d printed parts. The model includes adjustments for metal spring-back, so the final shape comes out right.

How does it work?

This method is for making and bending simple sheet metal parts. It is a more affordable way to get sheet metal into the shape you need. Usually, the 3d printed part comes in two halves: a top and a bottom. You place the cut sheet metal between them. Then you press the parts together using a vise or clamps. This bends the metal into the correct shape with the correct angles.

I can 3d print the plastic parts and ship them to you. Shipping costs and delivery times depend on where you live, but I am happy to work something out with you. All the pricing is without shipping the 3d print.
