Both Lottie and Rive have states now. Which one should I choose?
Great question! Choose Lottie (dotLottie) if you need maximum compatibility across many platforms (Web, CMS, Mobile) with standard interactions (hover, click). Choose Rive if you need game-like logic, animation mixing (blending), or if you are building specifically for Flutter/React where Rive shine
Do you use the new dotLottie format?
Yes! By default, I deliver .lottie files which are smaller and support bundled states. If you need legacy JSON, just let me know.
I only need a simple animated icon (e.g., a Heart, Burger Menu, or Bell). Which package should I choose?
The Basic Package is perfect for this! Even for simple icons, I ensure they are perfectly looped or have clear "active" and "inactive" states (using dotLottie or Rive), so they feel responsive in your app.
Can I change the colors of the icon later in my code (e.g., for Dark Mode)?
Absolutely. I structure the animation layers and name them properly. This allows you to dynamically change colors (Fill/Stroke) programmatically in Flutter, React, or Web without needing to edit the animation file itself.
Are these animations scalable without losing quality?
Yes. Since I work with vectors (SVG based) in both Lottie and Rive, your icons will look crisp on any screen size, from a smartwatch to a 4K desktop monitor.

What if I don't have a design file, just an idea?
No problem! I can design the vector assets from scratch based on your description or rough sketches before animating them. (Note: This may require an extra fee for design work).
Will the Rive State Machine work on the web, or is it only for Flutter?
Rive State Machines work perfectly on the Web (React, JS), iOS, Android, and Flutter. The logic I build is embedded inside the .riv file, so it behaves the same everywhere.

Large files slow down your app startup time. I optimize paths and remove unnecessary keyframes to keep files tiny (often under 15KB-50KB), ensuring your app stays fast and gets approved by App Stores easily.
