What if my book is 50 000 to 100 000 words, or even longer? How do you charge?
I work on a sliding scale. As word count increases, past a certain point, my fee is charged per 1000 words, negotiable between us.
What is included in your 1 revision?
If it is a small audio of say, up to 200 words, this will include, if necessary, re-voicing the entire script. For larger works, the 1 revision includes, re-reads of single sentences, short paragraphs and the correction of mispronounced words or audio glitches.
Do you work in Milestones?
Most certainly. With Audio Books it is an essential way of working. I like to work to Milestones of approximately 5000 to 8000 words, or the nearest Chapter thereto. It also allows you, the author, to pace Milestones according to your budget.
