About this Gig
If you're looking for someone to agonise over punctuation and go on the hunt for typos, then this is not the service for you.
Developmental editing (also called structural editing) focuses on the big picture questions rather than the nitty-gritty grammar side of things. So, if you need feedback on story structure, pacing, character development, dialogue and plot then this gig is definitely for you.

While I do have a preference with what I like reading, I will read most fiction. Just nothing toxic or smutty.

Do you provide sample edits?
Yes, I am happy to provide a free sample edit as long as the sample is 1,000 words or under.
Will you accept orders for an incomplete manuscript?
Absolutely. Sometimes you might get stuck on a particular chapter or you might be halfway through your draft and need a different perspective. I am happy to offer feedback on a smaller portion of your work if you need it. You can hire me for a package with a smaller word count.
What style of English do you write in?
I write in Australian English. Similar to the UK you'll find a 'u' in words like 'colour', 'honour' and 'neighbour' and an 's' instead of a 'z' for words like 'realise', 'specialise' and 'organise'.
