I will clean merge and validate CSV data using python
About this Gig
I clean and validate CSV data using rules agreed with you before work begins.
Basic: 1 CSV, up to 2,000 total input rows; agreed column, date and amount cleanup, plus an exception report.
Standard: up to 10 CSVs with the same structure and 20,000 total input rows; merge, validation, monthly/channel summaries where suitable columns exist, reusable Python source and a usage guide.
Premium: Standard scope plus 2 agreed additional summaries and a detailed guide.
Deliverables include cleaned CSV and an Excel workbook for review. Originals are preserved. Conflicting transaction keys and invalid records are flagged; duplicate-removal rules are agreed in advance.
Development is AI-assisted. I check each delivery using row counts, totals and targeted tests. Portfolio data is synthetic and does not represent customer work or sales results.
Contact me with an anonymized sample before ordering to confirm scope and timing. Remove personal data, credentials and account numbers. XLSX input, OCR, macros, scraping and service integrations need separate scope agreement.
Revisions cover agreed rules; new features need separate scope agreement.

FAQ
Can I send Excel files?
The listed packages accept CSV input. An Excel workbook is included for review. Please contact me before ordering if you need XLSX input, formulas, macros or a different source format.
What happens to duplicates and errors?
We agree on duplicate rules and transaction keys before work begins. Originals are preserved, removed duplicates are audited, and invalid or conflicting records are separated for review.
Will I receive a script?
Reusable Python source and a usage guide are included in Standard and Premium. Basic covers agreed cleanup and review files. Tell me your operating system and Python availability before ordering.
How do you use AI?
AI assists with development. Each delivery is customized to agreed data rules and checked with row reconciliation, totals and targeted tests. The public portfolio uses synthetic data.
