My Process (The BTEC Standard):

1. Gain Staging: Balancing levels for headroom.
2. Corrective EQ: Cleaning up "mud" and conflicting frequencies.
3. Dynamic Control: Compression to glue elements together.
4. Stereo Imaging: Making the pads wide and the kick/bass mono.
5. Mastering: Finalizing loudness (LUFS) for Spotify, Apple Music, and Club systems.
