How does remote tech support work?
After you order, we'll schedule a time that works for you. We'll connect via Zoom or another screen-sharing platform where I can see your screen and guide you through fixing the issue. You stay in control of your computer the entire time.
Do you only do live sessions, or can you help me without a video call?
I offer both! While live screen-sharing is usually the fastest way to solve problems, I also provide asynchronous support. You can send me screenshots, descriptions, or short videos of your issue, and I'll send back detailed written or video instructions.
What if my problem takes longer than the time I purchased?
I'll let you know if we're running close to the time limit. You can choose to purchase additional time, or we can schedule a follow-up session. I won't leave you hanging with a half-solved problem.
I'm not very tech-savvy. Will I be able to follow along?
Absolutely! That's my specialty. I've helped countless people who describe themselves as "bad with computers." I'll go at your pace and explain everything in plain English, not tech jargon.
What if you can't solve my problem?
If I determine that your issue is beyond what I can help with remotely (like hardware repair), I'll let you know right away and provide a full refund.
Will you have access to my personal information?
I can only see what you show me on your screen. I'll never ask for passwords or financial information. If we need to access sensitive areas, I'll guide you through doing it yourself or ask you to hide sensitive information first.
Do you provide ongoing support or just one-time help?
Both! You can book one-time sessions for specific issues, or return whenever you need help. Some clients book me regularly for tech questions as they come up.
