FAQ
Are images included, or do I need to supply them?
Images are not included and should be supplied by the client in high resolution. Basic image preparation (cropping, sizing, and light correction) is included when needed. Image enhancement and AI-generated imagery or icons can be provided as an optional add-on.
Do you edit images?
Yes. The Premium package includes limited image editing. Basic cropping is included in all packages. Additional services such as colour correction, basic retouching, minor manipulation, and image upgrading/upscaling are available upon request. Please share your expectations in advance.
Do you deliver templates?
No. I don’t provide InDesign or Affinity templates. Templates require a different workflow and must meet specific technical and usability standards. My work focuses on fully designed, custom book layouts rather than reusable templates.
Do you help curate or sequence images?
Yes. I can help with image order, grouping, pacing, and visual balance to ensure the book flows naturally and feels cohesive.
Can you work with mixed image quality?
Yes, within reason. High-resolution images are strongly recommended. I can improve and upscale images where possible, but quality limits still apply.
Can you advise on paper, printing, and finishes?
Yes. I can advise on paper types, binding options, and finishes (linen, leatherette, foil, embossing, etc.) to match the book’s intent and budget.
Can you design both the book and the cover?
Yes. I design the full interior and the cover (front, spine, back) as a unified system.
Do you provide printer-ready files?
Yes. Final files are delivered print-ready with correct colour profiles, bleed, trim, and prepress checks.
Can this be produced in multiple sizes or editions?
Yes. Different sizes or editions (e.g. standard vs deluxe) can be created, though this may affect pricing and timeline.
