About this gig
I have been playing drums for over 30 years, and have been recording all kinds of music for 20 years. I will listen to your music and will create a drum track that fits your song or album. I specialize in rock and punk, but have played lots of country (or alt-country), pop and other styles.
A few years ago I built a home studio and soundproof room in our house to be able to work on and record my own music. I've got some really great equipment, lots of experience, and I would love to be able to put it to use on your record.
I can deliver drum tracks as a mixed stereo file, or as individual stems so that you can work them into your mix and apply your own touch. Most projects will be completed in 1-2 days, I have set the standard delivery time for 3 days for a single song for the occasion when work or family commitments cause something to go a little longer.
If we haven't worked together previously, please send me your track before placing an order. I'll listen and make sure I'm a good fit so that everyone has a great experience.

I have played the drums in different bands and ensembles for almost 30 years. I have a B. Sc. degree in Sound Recording Technology, and also studied Percussion while in school. After college I worked as an Assistant Engineer at one of the top studios in NYC.
Since 2002 I have lived and worked in NY / NJ, and play music in a few different projects. I also recently released my seventh solo record.
FAQ
What equipment do you use?
My current setup is a vintage Ludwig Stainless Steel kit with Zildjian and Paiste cymbals and a Noble & Cooley snare. This setup provides a unique and vibrant sound that works across many styles. I have a large collection of great microphones and preamps to get the perfect sound for your song.
What is your working process?
I like to start by running through the song several times and trying out different parts. Usually within a day I will send a rough cut of the drum parts I've come up with and ask for any feedback. I can then change and perfect any parts / sections, and finally share back the full audio files.
What individual tracks do you provide?
I provide a stereo mix, and also usually kick, snare, 2 toms, 2 sets of Overheads, a hi hat, and a front of kit mic (10 overall)
