Hi, I'm Brett! I've been video editing for over 30 years, and I LOVE CREATING VIDEO DEMO REELS FOR ACTORS! I've been working as a full-time actor for many years including having speaking lines in the movie Killers of the Flower Moon (directed by Martin Scorsese) as well as roles in national commercials, so I know how valuable it is to have a strong demo reel to showcase your acting ability. FAQ
Should I place an order before I've chatted with you?
Please message me first as it will massively simplify the process for you and for me. And that way I can see your footage before even putting together a custom quote for you that will either match one of my 3 package deals or perhaps be a specialized quote depending on the scope of your project.
Do I need to already have my footage before messaging you? Or can you capture my scenes?
Unless you've already chatted with me about tracking down any commercials or film/TV scenes... you need to have good quality clips to upload for me. If I'm capturing footage — it's a separate order rate that's NOT a demo reel. *You would need to provide DIRECT LINKS as well as the EXACT TIMESTAMPS.*
How will I be able to get all my video footage to you?
You can attach it to me in a private message. Or if the files are too large for Fiverr's limits, the easiest is to upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive, and then you can just message me the Dropbox link or Google Drive link and I can download everything from there.
Do you also do color grading and audio sweetening?
Yes, I offer FREE color grading and FREE audio sweetening. I have so many decades of experience in video and audio, and I know how to make your colors look better... and the attention to detail my ears have cannot be matched.
What types of Add-Ons are available?
If you need a graphic of your name, or captions of the movie/TV show titles, or adding your headshot and agent's contact info or your own contact info, or finding the perfect moment to create a still shot/thumbnail... all of those can be added into any package for an additional small fee.
Why is the BASIC Package priced so low?
It's perfect for when you just need one clip to use for a casting site like Actors Access.
How much footage can I provide you with for a 1 or 2-minute demo?
Upload as much footage as you would like, but please be advised that my reasonably priced package deals are for a reasonable amount of footage. i.e. If you're uploading an hour or more (((or files that take an hour total to download them all))), I'd need to make a custom offer for the extended time.
Your packages are for 1 minute or 2 minutes. What if I want a longer demo?
Send me a message and I'd be glad to create a custom quote for you if you need a demo that's longer than 2 minutes.
Do you only edit acting demo reels?
If you need a montage of something else like scenes from a play/musical, a demo to showcase your singing ability, or a demo for stand-up comedy, I can easily handle anything like that. For other types of projects, I can offer you a custom quote.
What type of video file will I receive?
Just let me know if you prefer an .mp4 or a .mov file. And if you need it in a specific resolution, I can do that. But I generally send completed files in 1080p Hi-Def resolution.
