Writing a memoir takes more than just knowing how to put words on a page. It's about knowing how to tell a story, a life. It's about knowing people. I want your life to be as vibrant on page as it is out in the open air. And what that means is that I hate to know how to interview you to bring that out, to get to know you and your voice and your story.
I'm an author; you can walk into any Barnes and Noble in the country and find my work. I write fantasy, I write romance, I write all over the map. The most important thing to me is to be able to write so that readers recognize my character's voices, and that's what I want for your story. Readers shouldn't hear me when they flip through the pages of your life; they should hear you.

Can you write humor?
Yes! I can do funny or serious or dramatic or gritty--I can write it however you envision it.
How does it work?
Great question! We get to know each other through a series of interviews, and I sue those to figure out your voice and how to make it so that your closest friends would open this story and wonder if you wrote it. I provide work to you the whole way through!
How the heck do I know how long the word count limit should be?
Book a consultation, and let's talk about it! You can always add as we go as well. Think of it this way: 250 words is roughly a page. What kind of story are you trying to tell? For reference, 10,000 words is around 40 pages. Typically a memoir falls between 30,000-80,000 words.
If I purchase a larger package, will you comp the consult?
Absolutely. If we do a consult and you decide to upgrade, contact me for a custom order, and I'll take that price off your total.
