1. Do I need to provide a CAD model, or can you start from scratch?
I can start from literally anything – a hand sketch, a photo of a similar drone, a verbal description, or an existing 3D file. If you already have a CAD file, I can still run the CFD on it.
2. What if the CFD shows a problem? Will you modify the design?
Yes! That’s the power of this combined gig. If the analysis reveals high drag or flow separation, I will propose and implement design changes (within the revision scope) so that the final model is already improved.
3. Which CFD software do you use, and will I get the raw files?
I primarily use ANSYS Fluent and OpenFOAM. The standard delivery is a PDF report with all images and data. If you need the raw case files, I can provide them; just mention it before ordering.
4. Can you simulate propellers or full rotating systems?
Yes, I can set up rotating zones (MRF or sliding mesh) for propeller‑driven configurations. This falls under the Standard or Premium package depending on complexity.
