I will do professional cfd simulation for aircraft, uav and drone aerodynamics

About this gig
Need to predict lift, drag, or flow separation on your aircraft, UAV, or drone before you build a physical prototype? I provide professional CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis to help you optimize aerodynamics, reduce drag, and validate your design all from your 3D CAD model.
WHAT I DELIVER
- External aerodynamics: full aircraft, fixedwing UAV, multirotor drone, or any aerospace component
- Highfidelity meshing (structured/unstructured, boundary layers, y+ validation)
- Steadystate & transient simulations (incompressible, compressible, or lowspeed flows)
- Detailed reports with pressure, velocity contour plots, streamlines, and aerodynamic coefficients (Cl, Cd, Cm)
- Drag reduction recommendations and design improvement suggestions
SOFTWARE & METHODS
ANSYS Fluent | OpenFOAM | STARCCM+ | CFX | SimScale | (list what you actually use)
All simulations are validated against grid independence and convergence criteria no blackbox guesses.
MY PROCESS
- You provide the 3D model and operating conditions
- I prepare the CFD domain, mesh, and physical setup
- I send you a watermarked preview of the flow field for confirmation
- Final delivery includes a comprehensive PDF report.

FAQ
1: What CFD software do you use and will I be able to open the files?
I work primarily with ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, and STAR‑CCM+. The final deliverable is a PDF report with images, so you don’t need any CFD software. I can also share raw results if you have the same tools.
2. What do you need from me to start?
Your 3D CAD model (STEP or IGES preferred), flight speed, altitude, angle of attack, and what you want to find out (lift, drag, flow separation, etc.). If you’re not sure about the conditions, I can suggest realistic ones.
3. Can you simulate rotors/propellers?
Yes, I can set up rotating domains using MRF or sliding mesh methods for propeller, rotor, or full multirotor configurations. Please mention this when ordering.
4. How do I know the results are accurate?
I always perform grid independence checks and validate convergence criteria. The report will include residuals and mesh quality metrics so you can see the simulation is reliable.
5. Is my design confidential?
Absolutely. I never share your files or results. I’m happy to sign an NDA before starting work.
