When readers see errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, paragraphing, dialogue conventions; when they encounter inconsistencies, repeated words, poor word selection, or hard to read sentences, it pulls them out of the story. Bad news, my friend. It doesnt matter how edgy your plot is, if the reading experience is like wading through muck, they wont come back for more. Even two or three errors per page is enough to keep a reader perpetually disengaged.
Editing in-line with Change Tracking, Ill make your prose silky smooth. Im targeting anything that hiccups the reader experience.

- The basic service is for light editing only. You need to have gone over it several times already, because I'm just here to pick up the things you missed.

I don't have a lot of money. What type of editing should I get?
Editing covers Developmental, Line Editing, Copyediting, Proofreading, and Typesetting. This isn't Pokemon - if you're an indie on a budget, you're not going to "catch 'em all". Send me a sample and I'll advise you where you'll get the best bang for your buck.
How does copyediting differ from line editing?
Copyediting combs your manuscript for errors, whereas a line edit addresses the creative content, writing style, and language use at the sentence and paragraph level.
Do you use AI or editing software?
That's a no from me. You don't need me to jockey Grammarly or ChatGPT - you can do that yourself. My work is 100% human. Guaranteed.
