About this Gig
So, youre structuring the story yourself, but you want help with English expression, and hey, it'd be great to get feedback scene by scene to make sure the storys working. Every para, every sentence, every word has a purpose. The better you express yourself, the closer the readers vision will be to your own.
Editing in-line with comment bubbles and change tracking, Ill help you craft language 'just so' to make your story pop, and Ill give you feedback scene by scene to make sure each one is hitting the reader where it matters. This works best when I read as you write, chapter by chapter.
CONFIRM MY SCHEDULE before you order. All manuscripts OVER 5K must be placed by CUSTOM ORDER.
- The basic service is for light line editing only. You must have excellent grammar and expression already. I'll grab the ones that slip through the cracks.
- Rough manuscripts will need the Premium option to overhaul your expression. It costs me as much as a rewrite in time, so save money and get me to edit just the opening. You can edit the rest yourself based on my feedback.
- Just want me to fix the errors? Check out my copyediting instead.
- 7-day turnaround up to 10K words. Longer works by agreement

I don't have a lot of money. What type of editing should I get?
Editing covers Developmental, Line Editing, Copyediting, Proofreading, and Typesetting. This isn't Pokemon - if you're an indie on a budget, you're not going to "catch 'em all". Send me a sample and I'll advise you where you'll get the best bang for your buck.
How is Line Editing different from Copyediting?
A line edit addresses the creative content, writing style, and language use at the sentence and paragraph level, whereas copyediting combs your manuscript for errors.
Do you use AI or editing software?
That's a no from me. You don't need me to jockey Grammarly or ChatGPT - you can do that yourself. My work is 100% human. Guaranteed.
