About this gig
As a lyricist and composer, I have had a lot of success in my career. I excel at vivid imagery and songs about interpersonal relationships, heartbreak, love, and desire. I can also pop out fun party songs, or really anything else you like.

Do you write in all genres?
Yes. I believe lyrics are universal. If you want a silly song about a party, I can do that. If you want a song to use when you propose to the love of your life, I can do that, too.
Do I "own" the song if I commission it from you?
I retain authorship/ownership of the lyrics, but I can license it to you for release in whatever manner you choose. You would credit me as a songwriter as the law requires or pay me to release my rights.
Can I use your vocal take as the version I release?
Not unless you get my permission, pay me accordingly, and include "Featuring Bright Kelly" on the release title. I can provide my ASCAP info for such occasions.
Can you use (girlfriend's name, brother's name, etc) in the song?
Absolutely. This is obviously easier if it rhymes with something, but I love songs that use names - Amelia, Ophelia, Angela, Benny and the Jets, Daniel, Allison Road .. these are all great tunes, and I'd love to help write another one just like them.
