Do you need whimsical, heartfelt illustrations for your children's storybook? Well you've come to the right place. I'm Bronwyn, a professional children's book illustrator and I'll bring your story to life with engaging, custom hand-drawn characters and vibrant, colorful scenes - perfect for picture books or educational materials.

How it works:
- Please inbox me first, before placing your order, to confirm timing, details and quote.
- You send your manuscript and art notes (references encouraged)
- I do character design sketches and storyboards (Standard + Premium)
- You approve the sketches before we move to full colour
- I present full-colour artwork.
- Final revisions
- I deliver final, full-colour artwork. (Basic)
- Standard + Premium have another approval round

Hi! I'm a South African illustrator/graphic designer who has illustrated four published children's books. I am eager to continue down the path of storytelling for young people as well as expand the range of services that I can offer in the illustration field.
I love creating bright, bold and colourful imagery and am crafting a fun, playful and quirky illustration style to match. I like to give my work a textural, hand done feel, even though I work digitally. I do not use AI.

What do you need from me, the author?
Your story text, character descriptions (age, appearance, personality), description of the world of the story, If you have a desired color scheme, include it, visual references = great! Also: number of pages/illustrations, book size, any other technical requirements.
What style can you do?
I am somewhat flexible in whether I create a digital watercolour look or a flat gouache or pastel look - I can even work in vectors if you need - slightly more cartoony or slightly more realistic. But the way I draw characters does tend to shine through, so have a look at my portfolio to see.
Do you illustrate characters only?
Yes! My Basic package on this gig could be used for a single character and simple background, but have a look at my character illustration gig for more flexibility and pricing options.
Do you illustrate book covers alone?
