FAQ
What do I need to send you?
Your 3D model (STEP, IGES or native CAD) is best. A sketch or photo works if it includes key dimensions. Also tell me the manufacturing process, material, finish and any critical features.
Can you use my company's drawing template and standards?
Yes. Send your title block, drafting standard, and process or finish codes, and I'll follow them exactly.
Which units and standards do you work with?
Inch or metric. GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009/2018, and 1994 for legacy drawings. For ISO GPS, message me first.
Can I get the native CAD file?
Every package includes PDF + DWG/DXF. If you need the native file (SolidWorks, CATIA, FreeCAD), message me before ordering.
Can you design a part from scratch?
This gig covers drawings of existing parts or designs. For new design or reverse engineering, message me for a custom offer.
Will you sign an NDA? Can you work with ITAR parts?
Yes, I'm happy to sign an NDA. Please don't send ITAR or export-controlled data: Fiverr is not an approved platform for it.
What counts as a revision?
Changes to the drawing as ordered: dimensions, notes, views, title block. Changing the part design or adding parts is a new order or an extra.
What if my part is not manufacturable?
I'll flag features that are hard or expensive to make (tolerances, radii, hole depths, bend reliefs) and suggest alternatives before finishing.
