About this Gig
I will beta read and critique your romance novel. If you hire me, I'll leave inline comments in each chapter, end of chapter blurbs (this can range from paragraph long thoughts to a quick "Amazing chapter!"), answer up to five personal questions from you at the end about your manuscript, and send you a 4-7 page Beta Report report that details my summarized thoughts on plot, world building, character, romance, etc.
I am thorough and thoughtful, and I care about the writer on the other side of the screen. We're all out here trying to hone the craft of story telling, and it's an honor to be part of someone else's journey.
THINGS I WON'T READ:
We all have our limits, right? Mine are simple. I don't read dark romance or anything with sexual assault (Implied or otherwise. It's a no.) If your story has dark themes (danger, peril, mental health), that's fine. I'm just not interested in stories centered around graphic murder, war, etc.

Never. It would make me sick if someone used AI to assess my novel, and AI would do a poor job of it anyway!
Will you answer specific questions from me?
Yes! I give all authors up to 5 questions to ask me about their manuscripts. I'll answer them inside my Beta Reader report when I reach the end of your novel.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your manuscript will only ever be visible to you and me.
What kind of feedback do you offer?
My feedback is kind, but not sugar coated. If a scene makes me cringe, I’ll tell you. If one of your characters says something that sounds way off from the way you’ve written them beforehand, I’ll point it out. I am always kind, but always blunt. I want to help you make your book better!
