Bryony was selected by the Fiverr Pro team for their expertise.
About this gig
A strong children's book starts with a clear plan. Without it, pacing can feel uneven, text becomes cramped, and illustrators are left guessing. With 24 years in publishing, I bring expertise in picture book planning, storyboarding, and AI illustration prompts to every project. Whether you're working with a human illustrator or using AI tools like Midjourney or DALL-E, a well-planned layout ensures your book flows naturally and looks balanced on every page.
My process:
- Review your story, concept, and target age group
- Create a structured page-by-page plan
- Develop illustration prompts for each spread
- 2 rounds of drafts
Final product:
- A PDF page-by-page breakdown of your story
- Clear illustration prompts
- Guidance on text placement and image space
- A professional PDF ready to share with your illustrator
What I'll need from you:
- Your manuscript
- Target age group
- Visual preferences or themes
- Notes for specific scenes
Please note: This gig covers planning and illustration prompts only. It does not include illustration, typography, or final book design.
A clear plan at the start leads to a stronger book at the finish.
Delivery style preference
Please inform the freelancer of any preferences or concerns regarding the use of AI tools in the completion and/or delivery of your order.

Ongoing collaborationI am in the initial stages of writing a more indepth children’s book than I have previously done. Bryony helped me so much in figuring out the correct book pages, illustrations necessary, and flow of the book. It will be so much easier for my illustrator to follow for story prompts.
