I will clean your messy excel or google sheets data and convert PDF to excel
About this Gig
Spreadsheet won't sort, totals don't add up, or your supplier price list is stuck in a PDF?
I clean up messy Excel, Google Sheets and CSV files and turn PDF tables into clean sheets you can sort, filter and import.
What I fix:
- Duplicate rows and repeated entries
- Mixed date formats, stray spaces and inconsistent capitalization
- Part numbers and SKUs typed different ways
- Numbers stored as text, merged cells, blank rows and total rows
- PDF price lists, invoices and reports converted to Excel with real numbers
My niche is shop and small business files: supplier PDF price lists turned into clean parts sheets, and exports from shop software, QuickBooks or Shopify cleaned up for reports or re-import. Any small business file with rows and columns works too.
I'm an ASE-certified mechanic and licensed Pennsylvania safety and emissions inspector, so I know what a clean parts list looks like. Every order includes a change log, and I check row counts and totals against your original before I deliver.
Scanned or handwritten PDF? Send a sample page before ordering. I only work with your own business data. Not accounting or tax advice.
FAQ
What files can you work with?
Excel (.xlsx, .xls), Google Sheets, CSV and text-based PDFs. I deliver in Excel, Google Sheets or CSV, whichever you choose.
Can you convert scanned PDFs or photos?
Often, yes, using OCR, but accuracy depends on the scan. Send me one sample page before ordering and I'll tell you honestly what to expect. Heavy scans may need a custom offer.
How do you count rows and pages?
Rows are the data rows in your file before cleanup, across all files in the order. Pages are PDF pages that contain the table. Bigger jobs can use the extras or a custom offer.
Will you delete anything I need?
I work on a copy, so your original stays untouched. Every change is in the change log, and anything I'm unsure about, like two rows with the same part number but different quantities, goes on a Review tab for you.
Can I reuse the cleanup on next month's export?
Yes, with Premium. You get a template with formulas (or Power Query in Excel) so you paste in the new export and get the clean version without ordering again.
