FAQ
What will my report look like?
Basic: A one-page report with my honest reactions, what's working, and what could be stronger. Standard: Everything in Basic, plus a second page of chapter-by-chapter notes on characters, pacing, plot, and worldbuilding. Premium: Everything in Standard, plus an additional page of market analysis.
In what formats do you accept documents?
Microsoft Word or Google Docs. I prefer Word; however, it's not as collaborative as Google Docs.
Can you read an unfinished manuscript?
Yes, as long as it's a complete draft or a clearly defined section. Message me first so we can make sure the feedback fits where you are.
My book is longer than your package limit. Can you still read it?
Yes! Add the extra words option, or message me for a custom quote.
What's the difference between a beta reader and an editor?
A beta reader tells you how your story reads: where I was hooked, confused, or moved. An editor corrects or reworks the text. I will provide feedback without changing your text and you decide what to change.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Premium includes a follow-up Q&A. On other packages, I'm happy to answer quick clarifying questions about my notes.
What genres are NOT a good fit?
I'm not the best fit for contemporary romance, erotica, or grotesque horror. I also don't take stories centered on abuse (child, animal, or relationship). If you're unsure, message me before ordering.
