This service is particularly advantageous for individuals managing websites on an unstable or end-of-life (EOL) CentOS 7 operating system.
As the EOL for CentOS 7 approaches, concerns regarding system stability may arise. I am here to facilitate your transition to a suitable Linux distribution tailored to your requirements.
The two principal alternatives to CentOS are as follows:
AlmaLinux: This distribution is maintained by CloudLinux, a company that also offers the commercial CloudLinux OS. Support for AlmaLinux is guaranteed through 2029.
Rocky Linux: This community-driven distribution aims to serve as a replacement for CentOS and is led by the original CentOS developer. Rocky Linux 8 will receive support until 2029.
It is important to acknowledge that the process of upgrading the operating system carries inherent risks. Although I will implement all necessary precautions, including comprehensive backups before the upgrade, there remains a possibility of data loss during this procedure.

FAQ
Is every VPS with cPanel compatible for the upgrade?
No, since every VPS/Cloud technology is different (like Xen, Vmware, Virtuozzo, OnApp, AWS, etc.) the upgrade is not possible on every VPS. To verify, we need to first check if the upgrade is possible. So please contact me first before placing an order.
should I place direct order?
Please do not do this mistake. Not every VPS is compatible with Centos7 to Almalinux/Rocky Linux upgrade. Therefore please first discuss this with me and then we can proceed with the order.
Are there chances of data loss?
I try my best to avoid any data loss. And for this, I can help you back up your data to my own dedicated server as a courtesy (up to 500GB) and then proceed with the upgrade. Just in case the upgrade doesn't go well, can help you reload the OS with Almaliunx and restore the data from the backup.
Which languages you can communicate?
Fiverr is an advanced portal. You type in your language and Fiverr will auto convert the sentence into English language. Easy communication right?
