Do I need WhatsApp Business?
WhatsApp Business (free app) is recommended. If you only have a personal number, message me first and I'll advise the safest setup for your case.
Is this the official WhatsApp API?
By default I set up a practical connection for small businesses. If you need the official WhatsApp Business Platform (for large volumes), choose Premium and I'll plan that route with you.
Can it reply in Chinese and English?
Yes — the assistant can detect and reply in your customer's language.
Will it message my customers first?
No. It only replies to people who message you. Follow-up templates (Premium) are sent only when you trigger them.
What are the monthly running costs, roughly?
For a small business, typically $5–40/month — mainly Meta's WhatsApp conversation fees plus AI usage. Tell me your approximate message volume before ordering and I'll calculate it for you first, then you decide which package fits.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API? Is setup complicated?
Yes, but I handle the setup: we use Meta's official Cloud API (free to activate); you only need a Facebook Business account. For high message volumes we can use Twilio instead — we'll pick based on your situation.
Can a human take over a conversation at any time?
Yes. We set takeover keywords (e.g. when a customer says "agent"), the bot stops immediately and notifies you; you continue the chat directly in WhatsApp, and the bot goes back on standby when you're done.
