1. Is the Sharetribe subscription included in your price?
No. Sharetribe charges its own platform subscription, paid directly to them. My price covers only my development work. I’ll tell you which plan fits your marketplace before you pay for anything.
2. Do I need a Sharetribe account before ordering?
Not yet. Message me first and I’ll confirm the right Sharetribe setup for your idea. Once we agree on scope, I’ll guide you through creating the account and request the access I need.
3. Can you build a rental or booking marketplace?
Yes. I set up booking flows with availability, date selection, pricing, and request or instant-booking options, so renters and hosts can transact smoothly. Tell me your model (Airbnb-style, equipment, services) and I’ll scope it.
4. Can you set up my commission and seller payouts?
Yes. I connect Stripe, configure your commission, and test the full flow from buyer payment to seller payout. You’ll see it working end to end before I deliver.
5. Can you add custom listing fields and search filters?
Yes. I add custom fields like category, price range, location, or amenities, and build the search filters around them, so buyers find the right listings fast.
6. Can you customize the booking or purchase process?
Yes. I tailor the transaction flow to your business: request-to-book, instant purchase, accept or decline by the seller, and cancellations. Share how you want deals to work and I’ll build it.
7. Do you set up custom email notifications?
Yes. I configure transactional emails for bookings, payments, messages, and status updates, with your branding, so users stay informed and trust your marketplace from day one.
8. Can you migrate my old Sharetribe Go marketplace?
Yes. Sharetribe Go has been discontinued, so I can rebuild your marketplace on the current platform and carry over your design, features, and structure. Send me your site link for a quote.
9. Do I own the code and receive hosting setup?
Yes, you own everything. I deploy your marketplace, connect your custom domain, and hand over all access and code. Hosting costs are paid to the provider directly, not included in my price.
10. What do you need from me to get started?
Your marketplace idea, branding (logo, colors), example sites you like, and your Sharetribe access once the account is ready. The clearer your brief, the faster I can deliver.
