About this gig

Hundreds of photos that all need the same treatment? That's a full day of opening files one at a time. It should take one run.

WHAT I'LL DO

- Resize everything to your target dimensions

- Convert between JPG, PNG and WebP

- Compress properly a recent batch went from 230 MB to 5.4 MB, 97.7% smaller, with no visible quality loss at web size

- Add your watermark or logo, scaled correctly on every image

- Rename the whole set to a consistent pattern (product-001, product-002...)

YOUR ORIGINALS ARE NEVER TOUCHED

Everything is written to a new folder. You also get a spreadsheet listing every file: old name, new name, dimensions and size before and after. Nothing disappears silently.

PRIVACY, HANDLED

Photos taken on a phone store the exact GPS location where they were taken. Publish those on your website and you've published an address. I strip that by default and I can keep it instead if you actually need it.

Faster pages sell more. If your product images are straight off a camera, this is the cheapest speed improvement your site will ever get.

I build small programs that remove repetitive computer work. Most of what I do falls into three areas: collecting data into usable spreadsheets, turning raw exports into reports that build themselves, and processing large batches of files or images. I would rather tell you something is not worth automating than take the order. If a task takes ten minutes a month, leave it. If it takes two hours a week, it should not exist. You get the working script, not just the output, so you own what you paid for. Tell me the boring thing you do every week and I will tell you if it is worth automating.
