I primarily work with STEP, IGES, STL, and OBJ files. Native formats like SolidWorks (.sldprt) or Fusion 360 are also welcome. For the cleanest topology and fastest turnaround, STEP or IGES files are highly recommended.
Can you accurately animate mechanical assemblies and internal moving parts?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a rotating motor cross-section, a gear train, or an exploded view assembly, I ensure the animation strictly respects the real-world mechanical constraints and assembly logic of your product.
Can you match specific industrial materials and brand colors?
Yes. I use a PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflow to accurately replicate matte plastics, brushed metals, glass, and rubber. Providing Pantone codes, CMYK values, or reference photos will ensure exact color matching.
What resolution and format will the final animation be delivered in?
Standard delivery is a high-quality 1080p or 4K MP4 file (H.264 codec). If you need ProRes formats for video editing, or alpha通道 (transparent backgrounds) to overlay on your own footage, just let me know prior to delivery.
What happens if our CAD model or design gets updated mid-project?
Minor tweaks to geometry or materials are easily accommodated. However, if major structural changes are made to the CAD files after animation has begun, it may require a custom offer to cover the time needed to re-import and re-rig the new geometry
