FAQ
What is a Claude connector or ChatGPT app?
A small server that lets Claude and ChatGPT use your product on behalf of your users: look up data, create records, trigger actions. Users connect their own account once, then ask in plain language.
Will my app definitely be listed in the directory?
Listing is decided by Anthropic and OpenAI reviewers, so nobody can promise it. What I deliver is a build that meets their published requirements, and I fix anything their review flags within your package revisions.
What do you need from me to start?
API documentation or an OpenAPI file, a test account on your product, the 3 to 5 actions your users need most, and access to the cloud account where the server will run.
Where is the server hosted and who pays for it?
On your own cloud account, usually Cloudflare Workers, Vercel or Railway. You own everything and pay the provider directly. Hosting fees and changes to your own backend are not part of this gig.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. The full TypeScript repository is transferred to your GitHub with a README covering local setup, deployment and how to add new tools.
What counts as a revision and what is a new order?
Revisions fix tools, wording and UI within the scope you approved in the spec. New tools beyond your package count or a new product are a new order or a custom offer, quoted first.
Is it secure?
Each user signs in with OAuth and only gets their own data. Tools are annotated as read only or destructive, destructive actions ask for confirmation, and no secret ever lives in the client.
I already have an MCP server. Can you help?
Yes. I can migrate it to the new stateless MCP spec from July 2026, add OAuth and tool annotations, or wrap it in an app UI. Send me the repo and I will quote the work before you order.
Which AI clients will it work with?
Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code) and ChatGPT apps are the targets. Because it follows the open MCP standard, most other MCP clients such as Cursor work too.
