What is Jev and why not a classic script?
Jev is TypeSafe's browser agent model. Instead of fragile selectors it reads the live page and picks the next click or field itself, so small layout changes do not break it. For fully fixed pages I can also write a plain script: I will tell you which fits.
What can the agent automate?
Repetitive tasks in a normal web page: filling forms, copying data between sites, updating a CRM or back office, collecting data you are allowed to access, uploading files. If you do it by hand in a browser, it is a good candidate.
What do you not automate?
This gig does not cover CAPTCHA bypass, anti bot evasion, spam, mass account creation, payments, or sites whose terms forbid automation. I will refuse the order rather than build something that gets your accounts banned.
Do I need a TypeSafe API key?
Yes. Jev runs on your own TypeSafe account, so you keep control and pay usage directly. I guide you through creating the key in a few minutes. The key stays on your machine, never in our messages.
Does it work with my logged in accounts?
Yes. The agent drives your own Chrome or Brave with remote debugging enabled, so it uses the sessions you are already logged into. You never send me passwords.
What counts as a revision and what is a new order?
Revisions fix the agent for the task and site you described before I started. A new task, a new website or a changed goal is a new order or a custom offer, and I quote it before doing anything.
Do I get the source code?
Yes, the full code, a README to run it again and a screen recording of the agent completing your task. No lock in: you can run and modify it without me.
What happens if the website changes?
Jev adapts to small changes on its own. For 14 days after delivery I fix anything that stops working on the task you ordered. Ongoing maintenance after that is a custom offer.
Which websites will not work?
Pages drawn in a canvas, heavy nested iframes, strict anti bot protection and flows that require a human check. I test your site before accepting the order so you never pay for something that cannot run.
How fast is it?
Each decision takes a fraction of a second, so most tasks finish in seconds instead of minutes by hand. The real time depends on how fast the website itself loads.
