You need a VPS running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and SSH access with sudo/root permissions. If you're not sure whether your VPS is compatible, you can contact me before ordering.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No. Once everything is installed, Skadpanel can be accessed directly through your web browser.
Can I manage my Rust server from my phone?
Yes. Skadpanel can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone anywhere with an internet connection. You can manage your server, run commands, restart it, schedule wipes and much more remotely.
What can I manage through Skadpanel?
You can manage the console, startup settings, server.cfg, Oxide/uMod, files, updates, schedules, wipes, players, bans, reports, chat filters, commands, timed messages and server history.
Can I schedule automatic wipes?
Yes. You can create schedules for wipes and other server tasks directly from the panel, so you don't need to manually connect to your VPS every time.
Will my Rust server be ready to play after installation?
Yes. I will configure and test the server so that it is ready to use after the installation is completed.
Do I still need to use SSH after the installation?
For normal server management, usually no. Skadpanel is designed to let you manage most daily tasks through a simple web interface.
