About this Gig
Whether you need one final set of eyes before self-publishing, or you would like honest notes to prepare a manuscript for submission, I would love to provide constructive criticism and positive feedback on the stories you hold dear to your heart.
I have a degree in Strategic Communication, with minors in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, with experience reading for my university's literary magazine, the Journal, as well as for the Charles B. Wheeler Prize. I specialize in beta reading and making minor proofreading edits (such as spelling, grammar, syntax, etc.)
I will provide detailed feedback on:
- A story's basic structure, setup, and overall plot.
- Character, setting, point of view, and narration.
- Dialogue, word choice, and sentence structure.
- A final reader report on all orders
I will not:
- Rewrite scenes or add content to your story.
- Work with PDF files. (In-line edits will be made over Microsoft Word only).
I am happy to read any genre, including but not limited to poetry, YA, sci-fi, and fantasy!

Yes! If your story doesn't quite fit into one of my gig requirements (such as being a few thousand words over one of the maximums with a budget too small for the next tier), please feel free to message me! I prioritize working with my clients to provide the best experience possible!
