I diagnose NVR, DVR, IP-camera, recording, playback and network faults, including mixed-brand systems. More than 25 years of hands-on security-installation experience. For missing footage I check the date, channel, drive status, recording schedule and retention before suggesting any reset.
You receive a written fault assessment, prioritised checks, expected results, stop conditions and clear next actions within your selected package. Basic covers one issue; broader investigation is agreed before ordering.
You must own the system or have permission to manage it. Never send passwords, recovery codes, QR codes or identifiable footage. Redact sensitive details from screenshots.

Recorder and camera model numbers, the exact symptoms, relevant screenshots and a simple network description. Please remove personal data before sending.
Which CCTV brands do you support?
I work brand-independently, including Dahua, Hikvision, Hanwha Wisenet and mixed-brand NVR, DVR and IP-camera systems.
Will you need my passwords?
No. I never request recovery codes or unrestricted credentials. If a configuration check is needed, I use a password-safe workflow.
Is a successful repair guaranteed?
No. You receive diagnosis, prioritized tests and next actions. Hardware faults, unavailable parts or required on-site work may prevent a remote repair.
Can you troubleshoot remote viewing?
Yes. I can analyze P2P, app, DNS, port, router and network-path issues, subject to the package scope and the information you provide.
Can you check missing recordings without resetting my NVR?
I start with non-destructive checks: channel, date and time, HDD status, record schedule, recording type and retention. Do not format the drive or reset the recorder just to test it, especially if footage may be evidence. I cannot promise to recover footage that was never recorded or has been overwr
