About this gig

Historical Rigor for Creators by a PhD Historian

Stop worrying about anachronisms. As a PhD historian with international archive experience, I provide the expert research you need to build authentic stories.

What I offer:

  • World-Building Reports: Custom briefs for novelists and screenwriters on daily life, social norms, etc.
  • Fact-Checking: I verify scripts for Podcasts, YouTube, and Blogs, ensuring every date and political context is accurate.
  • Anachronism Detection: I review your drafts to spot "out-of-time" concepts before they reach your audience.
  • Source Curatorship: Professional bibliographies and primary source analysis for high-level projects.

What you will receive:

  • Tailored Historical Briefs: Original research reports designed as a foundational resource to build your narrative, characters, or world-building, or
  • Expert Script/Manuscript Review: A "proofreading" style service where I audit your existing content to detect anachronisms and verify facts, dates, and historical context.

Why a PhD? Unlike generalists, I apply academic methodology to protect your reputation with verified, cited data.
