Is there going to be any downtime?
No, there will not be any downtime. I can plan your migration in a way users can continue to use e-mails after switching tenant while migration is done in the background.
How many Microsoft 365 licenses do I need?
You will need to assign Microsoft 365 license to every user who needs a mailbox.
What is the maximum mailbox size that can be migrated?
You can migrate a mailbox up to 130GBs in size. If your e-mail account data exceeds 130GBs then you need to request Microsoft Engineering for additional mailbox space. For an Archive type mailbox you can store up to 200Gbs.
