Book covers are my passion as a designer, I've been designing them professionally for 7 years. I've worked on bestsellers and have won awards for 'best covers of the month' from LitHub and Paste Magazine.
My prices here reflect mainly different ways of working (outlined in the descriptions), but also are appropriate for different types of books. I would say premium is only applicable for novels or poetry, and that a cookbook is probably always going to end up being 'basic'. Just FYI

Do I need to already have an idea for cover images in mind?
You do not. Depending on what you're sending me in the way of information about the book, you can leave it it entirely in my hands. At the same time, if you have things in mind so much the better, but through our process of consultation and concepting, we may arrive at something very different.
Why are you so expensive?
I'm offering what I provide to some of the biggest publishers in the country for best-selling books with award-winning covers. I've lowered my rates for Fiverr to make it more accessible, but I believe I'm not only offering a premium service, but I also stand by the value of my time.
