About this gig
I create your website and host it for free (no ongoing costs ever). A custom domain for one year is included. Custom domains are different from website hosting and are usually registered for a year at a time. Please note that domain services often offer the first year very cheaply, and then the normal price applies at renewal. Keeping up with renewing your domain is your responsibility. I will be the host, moderator, and owner. If you like to host your own website, look for my other gig where I offer the file. This one is for those who want it all ready set up. No ongoing cost for your website. Domains are a different third-party service, and I only add it. You are welcome to send me a Jotform or similar embed link if you like to have a contact form on your website. Otherwise, it will be read-only with your required text content.

Can I edit my website myself?
No, it will be on my backend; I can edit if if needed.
can website visitors send me an email?
Yes, if you set up Jotform or a similar contact form service and give me the embed code.
will I own the Domain?
Not straight away, but you can transfer the domain to your own provider after setup. Then you can maintain and renew it yourself, but it might need some technical setup on your side. I am happy to maintain it for you at no extra cost, besides the third-party domain cost. The first year is included.
How can I add products?
You cannot add products yourself directly on the website, but I can add a link to your shop, like Etsy, Payhip, Shopify, eBay, or PayPal. Or customers can inquire if you add a contact form; see the previous Q&A. We can add some product example images to the page then customers can inquire.
