What is developmental editing?
Developmental editing focuses on the overall direction of the story and usually occurs in the earlier stages of writing. I will help you identify and fix issues such as readability, character development, plot development, and/or word count (increasing or decreasing).
What genres do you work on?
I work primarily on Horror/Thriller or Fantasy, but can also work on Crime Fiction, Mystery, and Historical Fiction I do not accept manuscripts that include smut, sexual language of any kind, or cursing and swearing.
Will you re-write my story?
No, my goal is to keep your voice central and make sure the story is what you want it to be. I'll offer suggestions and recommendations for areas that can be improved.
