How will I receive my project?
With the basic package, I will provide you with a copy of your fully edited document. For the standard and premium packages, I will provide you with two copies: One copy will have changes marked via the Track Changes tool, and the second copy will be a clean and final version of the completed work.
Do you ever outsource your work?
Never. All editing and proofreading are strictly my own work.
Do you use programs such as Grammarly?
As a professional editor, I edit and proofread each document myself. Afterward, I run the document through spell check and then Grammarly to check for any spacing issues. Although Grammarly can be helpful, it, like many such programs, cannot determine content; thus, it is not always reliable.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading refers to the last round of checking; it involves fixing errors such as those related to spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, etc. Editing, which is also included in my services, is a more in-depth task and may include improving sentence structure or language usage.
Can I submit a document as a PDF?
Yes; however, some PDFs with heavy graphics may appear a bit wonky once they have been converted to Word. It is preferable to send your document in Microsoft Word so that I can send you back a copy with tracked changes for you to see the difference post edit.
Can you work on documents that have more than 6,000 words?
Absolutely! Please contact me and provide the number of words in your document, and I will be happy to provide you with a custom offer.
As a buyer, what do I need to send you?
