I'm Charles, a Music Composer.
I have worked on many projects including feature length films like 'ENTRELACS' and 'Empire Félin'. As well as shorts, VR applications, mobile applications, podcasts and mini-series. My work has been shown in many Film festivals including Concordia University Film Festival (which won the Spotlight price for documentary), European Media Film Festival, Ennesimo Film Festival, Cinestart International Film Festival (Jury's Award), Prix de Court, Nouveaux Regards, Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards, Short To The Point, Sens de l'Art, Alternative Film Festival, and more.
I compose high quality music fast. I use top of the line software to create my compositions for best quality. I also use top of the line VST Plugins such from Spitfire Audio and UAD which allows me to get a rich proper studio sound.
I particularly enjoy the moment when projects are taking shape with the final touches of music. I am happy when the production crew is happy.
I can compose in any style you would like me to. Whether it be from heart racing synth music (in the kind of Tenet), or even emotional piano to a Full Orchestra.

Charles Saint-Michel has been a musician at heart from an early age.
After an early musical awakening at the age of 3, Charles began learning guitar at the age of 10.
During his teenage years, he created or joined various rock, metal and pop rock projects as a guitarist or drummer. It was around the 2010s that he began to take an interest in electronic and computer-assisted music.
Charles quickly developed an interest in music production, enrolling in a film music production program at UQAM in Montreal where he learned to produce quality music efficiently.

What experience do you have?
I have been composing for films and medias for 6 years now and have worked on many projects of almost every style possible. I've composed for over 10 Short films, as well as composing for two feature films. I Also composed a lot for VR apps, mobile apps, mini-series and documentaries.
What makes you different to other composers?
I believe a got a flair for good music and specifically for nailing the right mood for a particular project or scene. I also have the ease to write quality music fast, which is not easy to accomplish. I also believe I tend to have a great variety in my compositons.
