I will modernise your legacy dotnet application to dotnet 10

About this gig
Is your .NET application stuck on an old framework version? Running on .NET Framework 4.x, .NET Core 2.x or 3.1, or even .NET 6? You're losing performance, security patches, and the ability to use modern libraries.
I'm a Full-Stack .NET Developer and Technical Lead with 3 years of production experience. I've migrated real enterprise codebases to modern .NET, including a legacy modernisation project for a UK SaaS platform.
What I deliver:
A clean, working .NET 10 codebase. All breaking changes resolved. Updated NuGet dependencies. Existing functionality preserved. Tests passing. A Dockerfile and CI/CD setup if you choose Premium.
What I need from you:
Read access to your repository, a brief on what the application does, and any known issues. I'll respond within 24 hours with questions and a clear plan before starting.
My stack: C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 10, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Docker, Azure, AWS, GitHub Actions.
Not sure if your project fits? Send me a message with a quick description. I'll tell you honestly whether the migration is straightforward, complex, or whether you'd be better off rewriting from scratch.

FAQ
Will my application break during the migration?
No. I work on a separate branch and only merge once everything builds, runs, and existing tests pass. Your production code stays untouched until you're ready to deploy.
My project is much larger than 15k lines. Can you still help?
Yes. Send me a message with the project size and I'll quote a custom price. Larger migrations usually run between $1,500 and $5,000 depending on complexity and dependencies.
Do you handle the database migration too?
Entity Framework Core upgrades and migration scripts are included. Schema redesign or moving between database engines like SQL Server to PostgreSQL is a separate scope.
What if you find the codebase is too risky to migrate?
I will tell you during the audit phase before you commit to the full migration. You only pay for the audit and we discuss alternatives, including a rewrite estimate.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. I am happy to sign your NDA before reviewing any code or repository access.
What timezone do you work in?
I am based in The Gambia, which is GMT. I overlap with UK, EU, and US East Coast business hours every day.
Can you migrate from .NET Framework 4.x or only newer versions?
Both. I have worked on migrations from .NET Framework 4.x through to recent .NET Core versions. The audit will identify version specific risks before we start.
