FAQ
Which platforms and software are used for the 1-1 Coaching
For communication during the lesson we use Zoom. The software in place I use for working on your chess is Chessbase 17 (state of the art).
How are the lessons delivered, and what software do I need?
Lessons are 1-on-1 via Zoom and we use a private lichess Study to walk through positions and your games. You only need a free lichess account.
How quickly will I see improvement in my chess rating?
Honestly, it depends on how much you play and how disciplined you are with the training. Adults who put in 2-4h per week alongside coaching, typically see meaningful rating gains within 2-3 months
I am an adult and feel embarrassed about my level
The majority of my adult students started exactly where you are. There is zero judgement. I have coached players age 18 to 65. We start with where you are right now and build from there. Chess is a long game. With time and structured training you will see improvement
