As a native Italian speaker and a freelance translator from English to Italian, I will professionally proofread and edit any Italian texts (texts written or translated into Italian by native speakers or by machine transalation tools, depending on the package).

Proofreading is important because it is the last chance to find and fix errors before a document is presented to readers. It eliminates mistakes in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling, allowing us to communicate our message accurately and effectively.  

Editing is also essential and it should follow all translations. It consists of a bilingual review between the source or original text and the translation, and its goal is to improve the text, to verify the correct use of the language and assure that the message is conveyed in and adapted to the market and culture it is meant for.

I am a detail-oriented person and a grammar geek.

I am also insanely organized and I live by my Google calendar, so I never miss a deadline.
